Dashashwamedh Ghat

Dashashwamedh Ghat is a must-visit attraction. It has been named after a special horse ritual that was performed by Lord Brahma in front of a sacred fire. According to Hindu mythology, the ghat was created by Lord Brahma to welcome Lord Shiva. The oldest and holiest place in Varanasi, Dashashwamedh Ghat is known for its famous Ganga aarti.
