At Brij Hotels & Resorts, Cleanliness and Hygiene has always been our top priority and objective. We always keep highest emphasis on the safety and wellbeing of our guests with uncompromised standards of cleanliness and hygiene. We understand the risks associated with COVID 19, and in keeping with World Health Organization and Ministry of Tourism guidelines, we have implemented various additional measures across all our hotels.

Summary of our standards
All of us at Brij Hotels & Resorts are grateful for the immense trust placed in us by our guests to always do the right thing. We also understand that not all our guests would want to peruse through the complete list of procedures, yet for their convenience, we have tabulated the most important ones below.
 
  • All touchpoints in public areas like door handles, elevator buttons, table-tops, Chair arms, railings, etc. are cleaned continuously using a sanitiser/ surface disinfectant.
  • These practices are also in place in guest rooms during the morning housekeeping service and at turndown in the evening or on Guest request.
  • Masks and disposable gloves are being worn by all team members at all times and changed frequently. The housekeeping staff uses fresh gloves for every room they service.
  • Sprayers with professionally certified chemicals is being used to disinfect the hotel entrances, employee entrances, as well as all public areas.
  • Seating in the Restaurants and public areas have been reconfigured to ensure required physical distances are maintained between guests.
  • Protocols are in place for staff in the kitchen, restaurants, in-room dining, to sanitise their hands every time they serve food or touch food-related items.
  • All crockery, cutlery, glassware and serving ware are being sanitised by a UV before service. Service and Clearance is being done by different staff to ensure even the highest level of safety.
  • All supplies and materials are UV sanitised before being admitted into the hotel premises.
  • Temperature readings of all guests are taken at the entrance of the hotel. Temperature readings of team members are also taken after every 4 hours.
  • Hand sanitisers are in place in all guest rooms and public areas including the entrances, lobbies, corridors, cloak rooms, etc.
  • All our cars are disinfected after each use, as is luggage, before entering the hotel.

Updated and detailed cleaning checklists, including the use of professionally identified chemicals and agents for all areas, including laundry, are being followed and monitored closely. A mandatory guest check-in self-declaration form (as per local administrative protocol) is in place which covers COVID-19 symptoms. Any guest who indicates these symptoms is required to undergo a medical examination prior to check-in and might have to go under quarantine. If any of the parameters for our guests or team members are not normal, a medical examination and medical assistance are provided immediately.

The team is always on standby for sanitisation of all areas should there be anyone detected with a positive sign of COVID-19. Detailed Standard Operating Procedures are in place in case of a positive COVID-19 diagnosis where a guest or a colleague needs to be quarantined.
