Slow living...

From early morning yoga classes to relaxed afternoon massages, we try to inspire our guests to take time off and enjoy quiet moments with themselves. Guests are encouraged to engage in other mindful activities such as working with their hands and indulging in traditional practices like pottery making, or flying a kite, and just being. Pali is an unexplored, new holiday location in Rajasthan that delivers the best experiences.

Our in-house naturalist at Lakshman Sagar offers a nature walk in the mornings and evenings, as well as activities in Raipur, for guests interested in the local flora and fauna as well as the ancient topography of the region. A paradise for bird-watchers, guests may enjoy sighting not only herds of black-bucks, foxes and other wildlife on different occasions, but also our mascot turtles basking in the sun on the lake's edge. For wildlife enthusiasts and those looking for an adventurous jeep safari, Rajasthan boasts many places where one can get in touch with nature.

For authentic local Raipur experiences, guests are encouraged to request the host at Lakshman Sagar to organize for them breakfasts in the fields at a neighboring farm as well as evening walks with local goat herders. Guests interested in the local community’s participation can also visit the local schools, vegetable and spice markets, and artisan shops. Lakshman Sagar also offers insights into other local traditions such as local liquor and tobacco tastings in the evenings.

When you stay at Lakshman Sagar the following activities are gratis: Pottery, canoeing, breakfast at the fields, nature walk and bird watching, spice mixing workshop, local tobacco tasting, tree planting, stargazing, sundowner on the rocks, peacock sundowner at Zanana, evening bonfire and dinner by the lake
